SUMMARY
Insurance Underwriter professional needed for a World-Class Specialty Insurance Provider.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting to an Executive Vice President, The AVP will be responsible for underwriting, reinsurance development & placement, contractual negotiations on programs, program development & administration, and marketing of companies and brokers.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years experience underwriting in flood insurance, personal lines and/or property casualty.
- 5+ years experience or responsibility in outside marketing or sales managing a sales force or field representative.
- 5+ years experience in management of insurance office or department.
- Placement of reinsurance experience
- Training and responsibility for reinsurance
- Excess and surplus lines experience (underwriting and/or sales)
- Experience in the Lloyds Market
- Applied and/or Omni systems experience a plus.
- Bachelor's degree (Business or risk management)
- Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: ASLI, CIC, or CPCU
